La Vie En Rose has been a repeat of ours many times there stuffed french toast is all ways a favorite there peaches and cream is very delectable, they also make a banana and carmel that is also good. La Vie En Rose's proportions are on the big side but for us there isn't enough for a box but enough to make you think if you sit there long enough that you might be able to get it down. My boys have the blueberry pancakes mostly every where we go. My Father is a stake and eggs kind of guy and he enjoys there version of this classic. My Mother is always looking for a healthy way of eating and sticks to egg white omelets and vegetarian dishes. The dripped coffee leaves something to be desired however they do also serve expresso and lattes.
Normally the service is very good. However on our last visit this was not the case our drinks were never refilled it took over 45 minutes from the time of ordering to receive our food, this as i said is not the normal for them and for the terrible service along with the long wait for our food they did compensate us for the inconvenience. So if you are planning on going to La Vie En Rose on a holiday make sure you call a head and make a reservation since this is a very popular place.
La Vie En Rose is defiantly a place to stop and smell the roses at if you are in Boise with prices for 5 ranging just under $45.00.
